The best Sprinklr alternative in 2026 is buzzabout for anyone who bought Sprinklr to understand customers, because it sells social media research as the whole product, not as one module of a customer-experience suite.
The difference is the job. A listening module counts keyword mentions and alerts you to spikes. Research tells you what the conversation means: the pains, objections, and words customers use, and who is talking.
If Sprinklr ran your publishing or your contact center, you need a different kind of tool, and most Sprinklr alternatives lists blur the two jobs. This one splits them, with every price sourced and dated October 2026.
Sprinklr is a CX suite, and listening is one module#
Sprinklr calls itself "the definitive AI-native platform for extraordinary customer experiences" (vendor site, October 2026). Its annual report lists four product suites: Service, Social, Insights, and Marketing (10-K, March 2026).
Count the products in its own menu and the weight is plain. Service, the contact-center suite, lists 20. Social Listening is one of 8 Insights products, and one of 35 across the four suites.
The company began in social and grew into the contact center. Its 10-K says it expanded "from Sprinklr Social to include Sprinklr Insights, Sprinklr Marketing and Sprinklr Service." It adds: "We primarily target large global enterprises."

What reviewers say#
Sprinklr Social scores 4.1 out of 5 from 1,229 reviews on G2. Even on one platform, the modules can feel like separate products:
"It doesn't integrate well enough with other Sprinklr tools like Social and Listening"
G2 reviewer on Sprinklr Marketing
Why the Sprinklr alternatives lists disagree#
Search "Sprinklr alternatives" and the page-one lists do not agree on what Sprinklr is. We read the seven vendor-written lists on Google's first page for it and for "Sprinklr competitors" (US results, October 2026).
Each list answers its author's job#
Three of the seven come from customer service or feedback vendors: Ringly, which sells AI phone support, and the survey tools Formbricks and Perspective AI. Four come from social media tools: Planable, Sprout Social, DOHOO, and SocialKit.
Five of the seven rank their own product first, as this page does. Their picks follow their makers. Perspective AI puts five feedback tools first, Medallia and Qualtrics among them. Planable's list is ten social media management tools out of twelve.
We sorted all 59 picks by the main job each tool does. The grouping is our own judgment, and Sprinklr itself, listed once as "the incumbent," is left out.
Two jobs, one keyword#
That spread is not noise. It shows buyers arrive with two different jobs: running customer conversations, or understanding them. Forty-one picks run conversations; eighteen help you understand them.
Sprinklr's own compare page splits the field by job, into "customer service, social media management, consumer intelligence, and marketing" (vendor site, October 2026). So a list built for one job will mislead a buyer with the other. Before reading any of them, decide which job Sprinklr actually did for you.
How much does Sprinklr cost in 2026?#
There is no longer a small way in. Sprinklr's own notice said "Self-Serve products have been discontinued," and service for existing self-serve customers ended on April 30, 2026 (vendor site, May 2026). The notice page now redirects to a demo form.
Every path runs through sales. Sprinklr's site lists no prices, its pricing address returns an error page, and the buttons read "Demo" and "Talk to an expert" (vendor site, October 2026).
What the quote covers#
Vendr's buyer guide sets out how the quote is built (Vendr):
- Modules priced one by one: Social, Service, Insights, Marketing, Advertising
- Insights priced by users, sources, and query volume: topics, keywords, dashboards
- Auto-renewal clauses with 60 to 90 day notice periods
- Not for small teams: "not well suited to small and mid-market teams," says Vendr
Bundling modules unlocks discounts. Vendr still warns that "buyers should validate that all modules are actively used to avoid paying for unused functionality" (Vendr).
What the filings show#
Sprinklr booked $756.3 million of subscription revenue in fiscal 2026, the year to January 31, 2026, and ended it with 1,677 customers (10-K). Divide one by the other and you get about $451,000 per customer. That average is our arithmetic, not a figure Sprinklr reports.
The 10-K does report its large accounts: 141 customers paid $1 million or more, and they averaged over $3 million each. Most revenue comes from subscriptions with "terms of two to three years" (10-K).
A team that needed only listening, or only publishing, signs for its share of a platform built for four jobs. Even buyers who pick it notice the price:
"Sprinklr was definitely one of, if not the most expensive products we looked at"
Capterra reviewer, who still chose it
Capterra's summary of its 94 Sprinklr reviews says the platform "is expensive for small businesses, and its wide range of features feel complicated for new users" (Capterra).
Two purchases hiding in one product#
Read the suite as two purchases that share a login. The first is a care and engagement platform: publishing, a social inbox, routing, agents, and a contact center. Its value grows with seats and channels, because people work inside it all day.
The second is research: understanding what customers say, want, and complain about. Its value comes from questions answered, not seats filled, and it no longer needs an analyst team to run.
Split the decision#
Price each half against tools built for it, and the bundle discount stops looking like a saving. Four tests to run first:
- Name the job. Did Sprinklr run a care desk, a publishing calendar, or research?
- Count weekly use. Which modules did your team open last week? Price only those.
- Price the next question. Does it need a contract change, or just credits?
- Check where answers land. Slack, email, and your AI tools, or a dashboard?

Splitting is also cheaper. The average Sprinklr customer paid about $451,000 in fiscal 2026 (our arithmetic, above). Here is what buyers report paying per year for each alternative on Vendr, against the list price of buzzabout's top self-serve plan:
Vendr figures are medians of real contracts; the buzzabout bar is list price, $4,500 a year paid up front ($5,400 billed monthly). Vendr medians from its Zendesk, Brandwatch, Genesys, Meltwater, Emplifi, Sprout Social and Talkwalker pages; buzzabout from pricing.
#1 · The research pick
1. buzzabout: the research half, sold on its own#
buzzabout is a social media research platform. It does the job Sprinklr Insights is bought for, understanding customers and markets from social conversation, without the suite around it or a sales call in front of it.
- Ask in plain language. For example: why do people cancel meal kits?
- Pick your sources. Reddit, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Get structure back. Patterns, sampled quotes, cohort splits, and shareable live charts.

What separates it from a listening module#
- Labels on arrival. Emotion, intent, hook type, narrative, tone, and sentiment, per mention.
- Video and audio read. Transcripts, on-screen text, visual description, object and logo detection.
- Who is talking. AI-estimated commenter profiles, OCEAN personality included, on Pro and up.
- Agents that process. Always-on agents extract pains and topics, then push digests to Slack.
- Your AI tools. MCP connectors for Claude and ChatGPT on every plan.
A listening module hands you a feed of mentions. buzzabout hands you what they mean: the pains people repeat, the words they use, and AI-estimated audience profiles of the people commenting.
- Pricing
- Starter $98/mo ($980/yr) · Pro $178 ($1,780/yr) · Business $450 ($4,500/yr), per buzzabout pricing
- Best for
- Marketing, insights, and product teams who bought Sprinklr to understand customers
- Trial
- a $1 one-day trial with 1,000 credits, followed by 50% off your first paid month (monthly plans only)
- Not for
- Publishing, a social inbox, or contact-center work
A year of Business costs $4,500 paid up front, or $5,400 billed monthly (pricing). Either is about 1% of what the average Sprinklr customer paid in subscription fees in fiscal 2026 (our arithmetic on the 10-K above).
Pros
- Research is the product, not a module behind a demo
- Public self-serve prices and a $1 trial
- Reads video, audio, and on-screen text
- AI-estimated commenter profiles on Pro and up
- MCP connectors and webhooks on every plan
Cons
- No publishing, scheduling, or social inbox
- No customer-care ticketing or contact center
- No news, print, or broadcast monitoring
The care and engagement suites#
If Sprinklr Social ran your publishing and social inbox, these three replace that job. Each publishes a price or a starting point, and each treats listening as a tier, an add-on, or an Enterprise feature.
2. Sprout Social: per-seat publishing and care, listening sold apart#
Sprout Social is a like-for-like swap for Sprinklr Social: publishing, a shared inbox, reviews, and reporting in one per-seat suite. Advanced adds helpdesk integrations and social customer care reports (vendor site, October 2026).
Prices are public. Essentials is $79 per seat a month billed annually ($99 monthly), and Standard, the first tier that can add Listening, is $199. Professional is $299 and Advanced $399, with a 30-day trial (vendor site, October 2026). Vendr's median contract is $18,980 a year across 362 purchases.
Listening repeats the Sprinklr pattern at a smaller scale. It is an add-on for Standard and up, sold through a demo, and Sprout's November 2025 UK G-Cloud filing lists it at $3,000 per month. Our Sprout Social alternatives page covers that split.

- Pricing
- Essentials $79 ($99 monthly), Standard $199, Professional $299, Advanced $399 per seat/mo, billed annually (vendor site, October 2026)
- Best for
- Brand and agency teams replacing Sprinklr Social publishing and inbox
- Trial
- 30 days, no credit card (vendor site, October 2026)
Pros
- Public per-seat prices and a 30-day trial
- Publishing, inbox, reviews, and care reports in one suite
- Helpdesk integrations on Advanced
Cons
- Listening is a demo-gated add-on, $3,000/mo in its own filing
- Seat pricing grows with every teammate
3. Hootsuite: the social OS, with Talkwalker behind the Enterprise gate#
Hootsuite sells publishing, a social inbox, listening, and employee advocacy as one suite, with its Wisdom AI assistant in every plan (vendor site, October 2026). Standard manages up to 10 social accounts.
Plans run $99, $199, and $399 per user a month billed annually, with a 14-day trial and no credit card (vendor site, October 2026). Advanced adds care workflows: message assignment, skill-based routing, and satisfaction surveys.
Where Talkwalker fits#
Talkwalker now ships inside Hootsuite as Lumen. Full Lumen covers 150 million websites and 30+ social channels, 2+ years of history, and image, video, and audio detection, behind a demo (vendor site, October 2026).
Self-serve plans get a lighter version, with Quick Search reaching 30 days back on Professional. Enterprise adds 13 months of history, alerts, and listening "powered by Lumen" (vendor site, October 2026). Vendr's Talkwalker median is $13,298 a year.
More detail in our Hootsuite alternatives and Talkwalker alternatives pages.

- Pricing
- Standard $99, Professional $199, Advanced $399 per user/mo, billed annually (vendor site, October 2026)

- Teams replacing Sprinklr Social publishing, inbox, and light care
- Trial
- 14 days, no credit card (vendor site, October 2026)

- Care routing and satisfaction surveys on Advanced
Cons
- Full Lumen (Talkwalker) listening is Enterprise and demo-gated
- Quick Search reaches 30 days back on Professional
- Per-user pricing grows with the team
4. Emplifi: one enterprise contract for social marketing and care#
Emplifi is the closest structural match to Sprinklr here: social marketing, social care, and commerce from one vendor. It prices by package and says its pricing "scales with your business outcomes, not your seat count" (vendor site, October 2026).
The Social Marketing package starts at $1,249 a month for Essential and $2,499 for Advanced. Social Care is a custom quote (vendor site, October 2026). Vendr's median Emplifi contract is $23,714 a year.
Listening tools, including an AI query co-pilot, spike alerts, and Reddit listening, sit on the add-on list (vendor site, October 2026). Listening is something you bolt on, not the core.

- Pricing
- Social Marketing from $1,249/mo (Essential) or $2,499/mo (Advanced); Social Care by quote (vendor site, October 2026)
- Best for
- Enterprise brands that want social marketing and care from one vendor
- Trial
- Demo first; no self-serve trial listed (vendor site, October 2026)
Pros
- Marketing, care, and commerce from one vendor, like Sprinklr
- Package pricing instead of per-seat math
- Published starting prices for Social Marketing
Cons
- Listening tools sit on the add-on list
- Care plans are quote-only
- Entry price is enterprise-sized at $1,249 a month
The contact-center platforms#
If Sprinklr Service ran your care desk, a social tool will not replace it. These two are built for tickets, calls, and routing. Neither tries to be a research tool.
5. Zendesk: ticketing and messaging, social DMs included#
Zendesk brings email, chat, phone, and social messages into one ticketing workspace. It connects Facebook, Instagram, X, and WhatsApp, and Suite plans allow up to five X handles (vendor site, October 2026).
Prices are per agent. Suite Team is $55 a month billed yearly ($69 monthly) and Suite Professional $115 ($149), with a 14-day trial (vendor site, October 2026). Vendr's median is $53,035 a year across 1,206 purchases.
AI agents resolve some tickets alone, billed as automated resolutions beyond a plan allowance (vendor site, October 2026). There is no listening. Zendesk answers people who contact you, not the market at large.

- Pricing
- Suite Team $55, Suite Professional $115 per agent/mo billed yearly; $69 and $149 monthly (vendor site, October 2026)
- Best for
- Support teams replacing Sprinklr Service for email, chat, and social messages
- Trial
- 14 days, no credit card (vendor site, October 2026)
Pros
- Public per-agent prices, with monthly billing
- Social DMs, WhatsApp, chat, email, and phone in one queue
- AI agents included, metered by resolution
Cons
- No social listening or market research
- Resolutions beyond the allowance cost extra
6. Genesys Cloud CX: a contact center for voice-heavy teams#
Genesys Cloud CX covers what Sprinklr Service sells for the phone side: voice routing, speech-enabled IVR, outbound campaigns, workforce management, and virtual agents (vendor site, October 2026).
Plans are per user a month on an annual commitment: CX 1 at $75 for voice, CX 2 at $115 adding digital channels, CX 3 at $155 adding workforce engagement, and CX 4 at $240 (vendor site, October 2026).
Certain AI features draw on AI Experience tokens, with a monthly allowance per organization. Social listening and engagement is an add-on on CX 1 and token-based above it (vendor site, October 2026). Vendr's median is $49,890 a year across 30 purchases.

- Pricing
- CX 1 $75, CX 2 $115, CX 3 $155, CX 4 $240 per user/mo, annual commitment (vendor site, October 2026)
- Best for
- Voice-heavy contact centers replacing Sprinklr Service
- Trial
- None listed; sales-led
Pros
- Published per-user prices for every tier
- Voice, IVR, routing, and workforce tools in one platform
Cons
- Annual commitment; certain AI features consume tokens
- Social listening is an add-on, not a research tool
The enterprise listening suites#
If you want to keep the Sprinklr Insights model, a Boolean listening program on an annual contract, these are the peers. Notice what their contracts price: deep archives and analyst-built dashboards.
Both are aging assets. AI now builds a dashboard from one prompt, and an archive loses value as markets move, because research runs on what people said this month.
7. Brandwatch: an archive back to 2008, priced by the query#
Brandwatch, now part of Cision, holds "1.4+ trillion" posts back to 2008 and adds 496 million a day, with the Iris AI assistant and image analysis (vendor site, October 2026).
Vendr puts the median contract at $50,000 a year across 40 purchases. Consumer Intelligence is priced on active queries, and extended historical data "may require additional licensing fees" (Vendr). The archive is the asset you pay extra for.
Our Brandwatch alternatives page covers the metered-query model in full.

- Pricing
- Custom annual contracts; Vendr median $50,000 a year (source)
- Best for
- Enterprise teams that already run a Boolean listening program
- Trial
- Demo first
Pros
- Archive back to 2008, 496 million new posts a day
- Iris AI assistant and image analysis
Cons
- Priced by active queries; extended history can cost extra
- Five-figure contracts, sales-led only
8. Meltwater: PR-first monitoring, social as an add-on#
Meltwater's base is earned media: news, broadcast, podcasts, and social, with the Mira AI assistant on top. It ingests more than 1.3 billion documents a day (vendor site, October 2026).
Its help center listed news back to 2009 but social history for a rolling 15 months only (vendor site, September 2025). Vendr's median contract is $25,800 a year across 126 purchases. Vendr adds that social listening on top of media monitoring typically costs $10,000 to $30,000 a year more.
The full picture is in our Meltwater alternatives comparison.

- Pricing
- Quote-only; Vendr median $25,800/yr (source)
- Best for
- PR teams whose main surface is news and broadcast
- Trial
- Demo first
Pros
- News back to 2009, plus broadcast and podcasts
- Mira AI assistant summarizes coverage in plain language
Cons
- Social history rolls at 15 months
- Social listening is an add-on to a PR product
What about just using ChatGPT?#
Some teams leaving Sprinklr plan to paste exports into ChatGPT. That works for summarizing a file you already have. It cannot see the conversations you never collected, so its read of your market is a guess.
The fix is grounding. buzzabout's MCP connectors, on every plan, let Claude or ChatGPT query labeled social conversation directly, so answers cite real posts instead of plausible ones (pricing).
That is also why the dashboard era is ending. When your assistant can query the data, a custom dashboard becomes one prompt.

Frequently asked questions#
What is the best Sprinklr alternative? For research, buzzabout: you ask questions in plain language and get patterns and quotes, self-serve from $98/mo. AI-estimated audience profiles come on Pro and up (pricing). For publishing, Sprout Social and Hootsuite publish seat prices; for a contact center, Zendesk and Genesys Cloud CX do.
Who are Sprinklr's main competitors? It depends on the suite. Service competes with contact centers such as Zendesk and Genesys; Social with Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Emplifi; Insights with Brandwatch, Meltwater, and research tools like buzzabout. Sprinklr's own compare page splits the field by the same jobs (vendor site, October 2026).
How much does Sprinklr cost in 2026? Sprinklr publishes no prices; every suite is quoted after a demo (vendor site, October 2026). Modules are priced separately, with 60 to 90 day auto-renewal notice periods (Vendr). In fiscal 2026 customers paid about $451,000 each on average, by our arithmetic on the 10-K.
Does Sprinklr still offer a self-serve plan? No. Sprinklr's notice said "Self-Serve products have been discontinued," and service for existing self-serve customers ended on April 30, 2026 (vendor site, May 2026). New buyers go through a demo and a custom quote.
What is the difference between Sprinklr Social and Sprinklr Insights? Social covers publishing, engagement, and advocacy across 30+ channels. Insights is the listening and feedback suite: social listening, benchmarking, product, location, and visual insights, surveys, LLM insights, and video intelligence (10-K; vendor site, October 2026). Vendr reports they are priced as separate modules.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Sprinklr for social listening? Yes. buzzabout covers the research job self-serve from $98/mo, or $980 a year on Starter (pricing). Among enterprise listening suites, Vendr's median runs $25,800 a year for Meltwater and nearly twice that for Brandwatch.
Can buzzabout replace Sprinklr completely? No, and it does not try to. It replaces the Insights job: research on social conversation. It has no publishing, social inbox, ticketing, or contact center, so pair it with a care platform if Sprinklr ran those.
The suite contract pays for the past#
A Sprinklr contract buys a platform for four jobs, and part of it pays for assets built in a slower era: dashboards and archives. Its platform menu lists both, Display for command-center screens and Active Data Retention for storing data up to 84 months (vendor site, October 2026).
Sprinklr's own Display page names the problem: "69% of all business data loses value by the time it's in-market" (vendor site, October 2026). Research runs on fresh conversation, and the dashboard is now one prompt.
So split the decision. Route care to a care platform, then ask one real question about your market and see what comes back: pains, topics, buyer language, and who is talking. On monthly plans, buzzabout's trial is a $1 one-day trial with 1,000 credits, followed by 50% off your first paid month.
